Note: Our AI features use the Betterworks Private LLM. It is our own self-hosted LLM contained in the Betterworks AWS server. This keeps our customer data private and secure without the risk of it going over API to a third party. Organizations are not enrolled automatically. To enroll, please contact your Program Architect or Customer Success Manager.
\nGoal AI Assist leverages user data within Betterworks to generate suggested goals for that user. The benefit is to streamline the goal-creation process using best practices while explaining why goals were suggested and what data was used.
\nGoal AI Assist considers data on the given user across all available modules. A user's job title and department will also be used to help provide relevant goals to the user.
\n1. Navigate to the Goals module and click Create Goals.
\n2. Click Goal Assist.
\n3. Define for which business period you're creating goals.
4. Click Generate.
\n5. Select which goals you'd like to keep.
A list of suggested goals containing a mix of business goals, development goals, and goals based on the past, will be generated. Each goal will have an explanation referencing the data used to suggest the goal.
You can enter up to 3 keywords before regenerating to receive more goal selections.

The newly suggested goals will display at the bottom of the list under the \"New\" line. You can indicate if a goal is or isn't helpful (thumbs up or thumbs down). We encourage users to do this as it will help improve future suggestions.
Lastly, you can request more suggestions based on the goal scope/type.
6. Click Add Selected Goals to import the goals into the goal creation page.
Are our employees' data used to train AI models?
\nNo, your employees' data is never used to train or fine-tune our generative AI model. We understand the importance of data privacy and take steps to ensure your employees; data is used solely for your specific use case. Information given using the thumbs up and thumbs down icons does not train the model, it just informs our team if the output is helpful or not. It will help us improve the prompts that generate outputs.
