Introduction
The Betterworks Slack integration allows users to receive notifications about activity in Betterworks right in your Slack (i.e. cheers, nudges, @mentions, etc.).
Note: This integration is meant to be used with Slack's Pro and Business+ plans. The Slack Enterprise plan is not fully supported.
Enabling the Slack Integration
An administrator with Super Admin permissions can enable the integration for their organization while. However, users will need to choose whether or not to activate it.
Note: The administrator setting the integration up in Betterworks must also be an administrator in the organization's Slack instance.
1. Enable the integration in Betterworks:
Admin → Platform Configuration → Third-party integrations → Slack → Set Up

3. Once Slack has been enabled, you can dedicate a Slack channel specifically for recognition and enable the "Share recognition submitted to a Slack channel" option:
Notes:
- Do note include the hashtag (#) in your channel name.
- The integration employs the Slack's bot feature. If you've enabled the share option, you'll need to add the Betterworks bot to your dedicated channel.

No. Once the Betterworks Slack integration is enabled, it’s enabled for your entire organization as long as your users have Slack accounts.
Does the Slack integration work with multiple teams?
No. The Betterworks Slack integration only works with one Slack team per organization. If your organization uses multiple teams in Slack, consolidate into one team and start using channels to separate your conversations.
Can I disable the Slack integration?
Yes! You can uninstall the Betterworks app in the Slack administrative settings:
