Overview

Our framework Includes benchmarks, by industry and company size. Many of our preset questions, including those covering Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB), contain benchmark data. This enables you to compare your engagement scores and your engagement driver scores to the industry average in your industry and of your size.

Our benchmarks for each {industry x size} segment are based on panel data collected from a randomized set of 1,200 US-based employees, combined with data collected from 60+ customers (150,000+ employees). We update our benchmarks each year as more data is collected.

Enable Benchmarks

To enable benchmarks and utilize them in your survey reports: 

  1. Go to the Settings module.
  2. Click the App Settings tab.
  3. Under Select benchmark years, select which yearly benchmarks to use.

     Benchmarks for 2024 are now available.  

View Benchmark Data

To view benchmark data in your survey reports:

  1. Click View options.
  2. Click Show comparison.
  3. Select the Benchmark radio button.
  4. Select the industry and size from the drop-down menu.

Questions with Benchmark Data

Benchmark data is available as part of our Engagement survey templates; Engagement (Mini), Engagement (Standard), and Engagement (Extended). This data will also be available if any of the questions below are used in a custom survey.
