Overview
Goal notifications are automated emails designed to keep your organization aligned and engaged. These notifications ensure users stay informed about their goal progress, upcoming deadlines, and activity without needing to constantly check the Betterworks application.
Notifications cover a wide range of activities, from goal due dates to social interactions like comments and reactions.
Configuration
Administrators have full control over which notifications are active for their organization. You can enable, disable, or configure specific triggers to match your program's cadence. To enable goal notifications:
- Click Admin on the left panel.
- Select the Program Management.
Select Notifications.
Click the Notifications tab.
Click the Goals tab.
Enable the notifications.
Require notifications for all employees if you'd like.
Click Save.

FAQs
Can I customize the time scheduled emails are sent?
Not at this time.
Why didn't I receive a notification for my own comment?
The application is designed to notify other relevant parties. You will not receive notifications for actions you perform yourself (e.g., posting a comment on your own goal).
