Overview
The My Settings page allows you to manage your personal preferences while using Betterworks. These settings control how the application behaves for you, such as accessibility options, notifications, language, and time zone.
Personal profile information (such as role, skills, and performance details) is managed separately in the Talent Profile.
Accessing My Settings
To access My Settings:
Click your profile icon in the top navigation.
Select My Settings under your name.
Available Settings
The following options are available within My Settings (NextGen):
Accessibility
Use Accessibility settings to customize how messages appear while using Betterworks.
Message Display Timing
Set how long banner messages display on your screen.
You can enter a value between 3 and 150 seconds, then click Save to apply your preference.
Notifications
The Notifications tab allows you to manage how and when you receive notifications from Betterworks.
Starting Page
Use Starting Page to choose which page you see first when you log in to Betterworks.
Time Zone
Set your Time Zone to ensure dates and times throughout Betterworks display correctly for you.
Language
Select your preferred Language for the Betterworks interface.
Preview Environment
The Preview Environment option allows you to switch into preview experiences, when available.

Skills
Performance summaries
Historical employee information
