It brings together goals, feedback, conversations, skills, and historical information into a single profile, making it easier for employees, managers, and HR teams to understand performance and growth at a glance.
The Talent Profile is designed to support ongoing performance conversations, career development, and talent insights in one centralized location.
Accessing the Talent Profile
You can access an employee’s Talent Profile by:
Clicking an employee’s name anywhere in Betterworks
Navigating to your own profile from the homepage
Performance Summary
The Performance Summary provides an automatically generated overview of an employee’s performance based on available data such as:
Goals
Feedback
Conversations
Recognition
This summary highlights:
Key achievements
Strengths
Areas for development
The summary updates as new performance data becomes available. At least one data source must exist for a summary to be generated.
Note: Availability of AI-powered summaries depends on your organization’s configuration.
Skills
The Skills section allows employees and managers to view and manage skill information in one place.
Depending on how your organization is configured, skills may include:
Manually added skills
System-recommended skills based on role, goals, and feedback
Skill descriptions and sources
Manager verification (if enabled)
Employees can review their skills, while managers may be able to verify or adjust skill information as part of ongoing development conversations.
Historical Data
Some organizations may enable Historical Data within the Talent Profile. When available, this section allows users and managers to view or download historical employee documents that were imported through supported integrations.
