Overview
The Goals Panel is a dynamic, in-app panel appearing on the right hand side of a number of Modules within Betterworks, to surface goal-related insights in context, without requiring users to navigate away from their workflow. This panel displays goals, milestones, and AI-generated meeting summaries, with filtering, ownership toggles, and quick navigation to the Goals module.
Using the Goals Panel
Within the Goals Panel, users can take the following actions;
Employees
Quickly view and track their own goals or AI Summary
Apply Date (business period) selection, or filter by Category, Type, and Scope.
Understand how their work contributes to larger goals by viewing goal alignment
Hover to view milestones when needed
Navigate directly to the Goal model to view more details, or create a new Goal
Managers
Instantly switch between their own goals and a direct report’s goals
Apply Date (business period) selection, or filter by Category, Type, and Scope.
Gain visibility into goal hierarchy (parent/child relationships)
Hover to view milestones when needed
Filter goals to focus on relevant discussions with their team
Navigate directly to the Goal model to view more details, or create a new Goal
Permissions & Visibility
Users are only able to see Goals & Milestones that they own, and the Goals & Milestones owned by the other user their Meeting or Conversation is with, based on the page they are currently viewing. All existing permissions and ownership rules remain in place, so no unrelated Goals will be displayed in this panel.
