Overview
Program Branding allows organizations to customize the visual identity and terminology used throughout the application. This helps create a more consistent employee experience by aligning the application with your company's internal branding standards.
Configuration
To access branding options, go to Admin → Platform Configuration → Branding.
Logos
The Branding page supports three different logo types, each serving a unique purpose throughout the application.
Primary Logo
The Primary Logo appears in the top-left corner of the application navigation and the top-left corner of email notifications.
| Requirement | Details |
|---|---|
| Aspect Ratio | 4.5:1 |
| Recommended Size | 540px x 120px |
| Allowed File Types | PNG, GIF, JPG, JPEG |
| Maximum File Size | 1MB |
Best practices for the primary logo include using a horizontal version of your company logo, ensuring the logo has sufficient padding around the edges, and using a transparent PNG when possible for cleaner rendering.
Symbol Logo
The Symbol Logo is used throughout the application to visually identify content associated with your organization. The symbol logo is also displayed in the collapsed Navigation menu.
| Requirement | Details |
|---|---|
| Aspect Ratio | 1:1 |
| Recommended Size | 120px x 120px |
| Allowed File Types | PNG, GIF, JPG, JPEG |
| Maximum File Size | 1MB |
Best practices for the symbol logo include using a simplified or icon-only version of your brand and ensuring the image remains recognizable at smaller sizes.
Notification Logo
The notification logo appears in notifications and alerts to identify content from your company.
| Requirement | Details |
|---|---|
| Aspect Ratio | 1:1 |
| Recommended Size | 120px x 120px |
| Allowed File Types | PNG, GIF, JPG, JPEG |
| Maximum File Size | 1MB |
Best practices for the notification logo include using a clear, high-contrast image and keeping designs simple for readability in compact notification layouts.
Custom Naming
Organizations can customize module terminology to match internal language and processes. Administrators can define custom singular and plural names for various modules.
Note: Custom naming is currently only supported in English.
Naming best practices suggest using terminology employees already recognize internally, keeping names concise and intuitive, avoiding overly technical or department-specific language, and ensuring plural naming conventions remain grammatically consistent.
Broadcast Message
The Message section allows administrators to broadcast a company-wide message.
Best practices for broadcast messaging include keeping messages concise and actionable, using clear language, and updating or removing outdated messages regularly.
Usage
Once the configuration is complete, updates deploy across the application according to the following behaviors:
- Primary Logo: Displays in the top-left corner of the application navigation and the top-left corner of email notifications.
- Symbol Logo: Displays in the collapsed navigation menu and throughout the application to identify content associated with your organization.
- Notification Logo: Populates directly within alerts and notification modules.
- Custom Naming: Naming updates automatically appear throughout the application interface and in email notifications.
- Broadcast Messages: Appear directly on the user's homepage and inside the notifications panel. Common uses include company announcements, program launches, policy reminders, and important organizational updates.
