Overview
Performance Snapshot gives employees, managers, and HR admins a consolidated view of an employee's performance activity in NextGen. The snapshot brings together activity from Goals, Conversations, Peer Feedback, Recognition, and, where available, Meetings.
Use Performance Snapshot to review performance activity for a selected business period before Calibration sessions, year-end discussions, 1:1s, or for review preparation. Instead of opening multiple modules separately, eligible users can view or print a consolidated employee record from the employee's talent profile.
The NextGen experience is content-first. It surfaces goal progress, conversation responses, feedback submissions, recognition messages, and related activity in one place. Users can also generate a print-friendly snapshot and save it as a PDF using the browser print dialog.

FAQs

The Print Performance Snapshot action appears only when Performance Snapshot is enabled and visible, the viewer has access to the employee, the relevant permissions are in place, and the NextGen print flow is enabled for the organization.
Can employees view their own Performance Snapshot?
Yes. Employees can view their own Performance Snapshot.
Can managers view snapshots for their reports?
Yes. Managers can view Performance Snapshot for themselves and their direct reports. Skip-level manager access depends on the organization's configured skip-level reporting permissions.
Can HR admins view any employee snapshot?

What happens to confidential responses?

Can I export to Excel or CSV?
No. Performance Snapshot supports manual print or PDF export. Excel and CSV exports are not planned for this feature.
Can I schedule or automate PDF delivery?
No. Scheduled or automated PDF delivery is out of scope. Users must manually generate the snapshot.
Why is the PDF taking longer to load?

Are full 1:1 meeting notes included in the PDF?
No. Full 1:1 meeting agenda and action item detail are not included in the PDF export. Meeting summary data may be shown when available.
Does the NextGen snapshot match Classic Performance Snapshot?
Not exactly. The NextGen experience is a content-first summary and print flow, not a one-to-one copy of the Classic count-based snapshot experience.
