Overview
The Matrix Manager feature allows employees to have additional managers, enabling greater visibility, collaboration, and support across the organization. This overview explains how Matrix Managers can be assigned to users and links to module-specific articles detailing their capabilities and permissions within each area of the platform.
Assigning Matrix Managers to your users
Matrix Managers can be assigned to users by uploading a user CSV.
The column header (field key) bw_link_managers must be used, and the email address of the matrix manager must be entered. Multiple matrix managers may be added, separated by commas.

Matrix Managers in Goals
Matrix Managers can view and filter Goals owned by their matrix reports, making it easier to find and manage Goals across different reporting relationships.
Administrators can enable the My Matrix Reports filter view within Goals settings. Once enabled, users assigned as Matrix Managers will see a My Matrix Reports checkbox when filtering Goals by owner, allowing them to quickly find Goals belonging to their matrix reports.
Note: This functionality requires Matrix Manager relationships to be configured in Betterworks and the feature to be enabled for the organisation.
