Analytics
Fixes
· In the Feedback Answers Report, HTML tags and entities (e.g. <p>) are now stripped from all text columns, so that exports contain clean plain text.
· In the Feedback Gap Report, for scaled questions, the Average Answer (other than self) field now displays the percentage of responses for each scale option, rather than a single average value, consistent with how multi-select questions are displayed.
· In the Talent Profile Report, the legacy “Matrix Label” column has been removed from the report. All other columns and data are unchanged.
App Platform
Updates
· Time zone handling has been updated to reflect changes to daylight saving time in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, and parts of the Northwest Territories. These regions now remain on their respective time zones year-round, ensuring dates and times are displayed accurately in Betterworks.
Fixes
· An issue where errors during CSV user uploads could reference incorrect row numbers has been resolved. Error messages now identify the correct rows that require attention, making it easier to locate and resolve issues.
· In CSV uploads and the Bulk Users API, sending BW_NULL for deactivation_date, bw_rehire_date or bw_current_role_start_date now clears the stored date. This can be used to cancel a scheduled deactivation. A blank value still leaves the stored date unchanged.
· In organizations with notifications turned off, emails containing Reports requested by Admins (such as the Conversation Answers report) and reports generated by Betterworks Support were being suppressed in error. These emails are now being sent as intended.
· When a new organization was created with an email domain that another organization already used for SAML SSO, that domain's login method could reset to Password in every organization using it. This has been resolved so that existing SSO settings now stay unchanged.
· Some users in organizations that share an email domain with another Betterworks organization (for example, a sandbox org) were sent to the wrong organization at login and saw an error message. They are now routed to the correct organization.
· Goal list exports could sometimes fail with an error during periods of high system activity. This has been resolved so that exports now complete reliably.
MCP
New
· Conversations_list_conversations now returns a simpler, flat list. This makes it faster and more reliable for users with many conversations, such as when they ask AI Chat for their pending check-ins. Nested fields are now separate fields (for example, owner_id and owner_name), and the list no longer includes questions or answers.
Talent Management
Fixes
· Improved spacing in the Talent Profile sidebar to ensure all fields remain clearly visible when scrolling, without being obscured by the footer bar.
· The cycle dropdown in Calibration has been updated to the most recent version of the Search feature.
Conversations, Feedback, and Recognition
Fixes
· Feedback - The 'Back to All Feedback' button was incorrectly redirected to the report view - this has now been rectified.
· Conversations - Fixed an issue where the launch and end dates of scheduled Conversation cycles could appear one day earlier than the dates configured by administrators. Scheduled Conversation dates now display as expected after saving.
· Conversations - Fixed an issue where Conversation transfers required manual acceptance or rejection following a manager change, even when the Automatic Conversation Transfer setting was enabled. Conversations now transfer automatically to the new manager when this setting is enabled.
· Conversations - Fixed an issue where certain Conversations were not appearing in the Conversation list for employees or managers, despite being accessible through a direct link. Impacted Conversations now appear as expected.
· Conversations - Fixed an issue where the Conversations Public API returned only a single answer for Additional Contributors rather than their full questionnaire responses. The API now returns all questions and answers submitted by each contributor, consistent with the responses returned for employees and managers.
AI
Updates
· Writing Assistant suggestions now come back faster, as a redundant check that ran after each suggestion was generated has been removed. The safety, bias, and personal-information checks on what is entered by the user still run as before.
· Skills matching for all organizations now uses Google's Gemma embedding model instead of OpenAI. The option to choose an embedding model has been removed from SysAdmin.
Fixes
· When a manager opened a direct report’s feedback page, the AI Feedback Summary sometimes showed “An error occurred” instead of the summary. The summary now loads correctly when the page opens.
· When a Super Admin generated an AI Performance Summary for another employee, the summary left out that employee’s Conversations, even though the Super Admin could view them. Summaries generated by a Super Admin now include the employee’s completed Conversations, and Regenerate picks up the new data.
NextGen Homepage
Fixes
· When a manager chooses “Request 360 Peer Feedback” for a direct report from the homepage, that direct report is now pre-selected as the recipient. Managers can go straight to choosing a template and providers.
Goals
Updates
· The ability to sort goals by the Owner column in the Goals List View in both ascending (A–Z) and descending (Z–A) order has been added. Users can now easily organize and scan large lists of goals by owner display name alongside active filters.
Integrations
Fixes
· Microsoft Teams Integration: Fixed an issue where some Betterworks notifications were not being delivered through Microsoft Teams and users were unable to receive responses when interacting with the Betterworks Teams bot. Both functionalities have been restored.
Meetings
Fixes
· Fixed an issue where links added to 1:1 agenda topics could not be opened by direct reports. Both managers and direct reports can now open and access links shared within agenda items seamlessly.
· Fixed an issue that caused a 1:1 meeting series to appear duplicated across a user’s 1:1 view. Scheduled 1:1 meetings now display cleanly as a single entry.
UI
Updates
· Updated the name for traditional Chinese in our language selectors from 繁体中文 to 繁體中文.

Updates
· 2026 benchmark data is now available across 13 industries and 3 company-size bands. It is enabled for all customers by default, with a default benchmark selected for each customer. The 2025 and 2024 benchmark data is still accessible and can be selected if required.
