Releases made to Betterworks NextGen - 16th June 2026
Analytics
New
· An update has been made which adds employee identifiers to SFTP-exported PDF file names. File names will now include the employee's first name, last name, and employee ID. Where an employee ID is not available, the receiver's UUID will be used instead. This aims to improve clarity and traceability for administrators processing multiple exports.
Fixes
· The Conversation Adoption Report was missing the 'Expected Meetings' and 'Confirmed As Met' columns where these were enabled and required in the template. This was rectified for any Conversation template that has the 'Met' flag enabled. Templates without the Met flag will display "NA" in these columns.
App Platform
Updates
· APIs: Organization ID and user UUID were added to public API logs for improved analytics and troubleshooting.
Talent Management
New
· In Calibration, when creating a cycle, Admins can now choose whether to include all employees, to include employees only from specific Departments or Groups, or to exclude employees from specific Departments or Groups. Once employees have been specified, only those chosen will be displayed in the Calibration cycle table and charts.
· The Cycle creation form now has “Step 5: Configure fields” where a Super Admin has a picklist for choosing which fields display in the Calibration table, and can reorder these once selected.
Updates
· The field view default was previously All, which displayed all deactivated or archived fields along with active ones. Now, only active fields display by default, but All can still be selected if desired.
· The Classic Calibration concept of a single ‘matrix_label’ was incorrectly displaying as a standard talent field. This has now been removed to better fit Calibration in NextGen.
· A duplicative employee filter has been removed from the left-hand navigation panel. This was no longer required, as an Employee Search field already exists on the page.
Fixes
· By default, users cannot see themselves in Calibration. An additional update was made, also removing the user’s ability to find and select themselves via search.
· A styling change was made to prevent Matrix labels overflowing from their containers.
· A number of minor styling improvements were made to the appearance of various steps in the Cycle creation flow, including fixing the appearance of the mock values in the Cycle > create chart step.
Conversations
New
· An enhancement has been made to Conversations which allows managers to invite up to 3 relevant stakeholders (e.g., project leads, mentors, cross-functional partners) to provide structured input within a Conversation cycle.
Goals
Updates
· The option for Admins to delete private Goals has been added.
