Analytics
Fixes
· A large-scale test report caused a delay in the generation of both scheduled & on-demand reports. Some customers were shown a success banner despite the emails containing the reports not being delivered. The test was terminated, and normal report generation resumed.
App Platform
New
· The new Betterworks MCP (Model Context Protocol) Server is now available in beta, allowing customers to securely access Betterworks performance data - including goals, recognition, and teams, through compatible AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude. Updates
· An update was made to the API which will now automatically strip out content containing potentially harmful HTML tags or script, so that malicious markup cannot be submitted through the UI.
· Users with their locale set to British English (en-GB) will now correctly see localized module names throughout the product, rather than these reverting to American English.
Fixes
· A bug was resolved whereby email subject lines displayed a blank prefix (e.g., " : topic") instead of the module name, for recipients without a locale set in their Betterworks profile. Subject lines will now correctly show the module name for all users.
· The recipient greeting in notification emails has been updated to use high-contrast, bold typography, making the recipient's name the most prominent element for immediate clarity.
· A fix was made to prevent intermittent memory spikes in the Event Processor from causing brief service interruptions, resulting in more consistent and reliable system performance.
Talent Management
New
· Previously, identity search on the Calibration cycle page only included Employee. It has now been updated to include Employee (User), Group, and Department. These identities can be searched together and applied as a filter, then saved as a view.
· The ‘search by Position’ feature has been moved from Filters to a separate Search bar for quicker and easier use.
Updates
· A picklist component has been implemented for field selection, for selecting which to display in the table in Calibration. This component can be reused for future configurations.
· A feature has been added to allow Admins to prevent an employee (direct report, skip level direct report or linked report) from being able to see their Manager, skip level Manager, or linked Manager's Talent Profile in the conversation right side panel. To enable this feature, please contact your CSM.
Conversations, Feedback & Recognition
Fixes
· Feedback: The system logic of an update to participant lists being required when updating a Scheduled Feedback template was preventing users from making a simple update to the cycle name. This has now been rectified, and previous Scheduled Feedback template names can be edited as needed.
· Conversations: A bug in the text boxes of long-form Conversation answers caused the cursor to move around whilst users were typing. This has been resolved.
Homepage
Fixes
· The ‘Create Goals’ task was incorrectly showing up on the Homepage even when a user had active Goals created for the current business period. This issue has been rectified.
Goals
Updates
· A new column called “Assessments” has been added on the Goals list view, for easy visibility and access to assessments without the need to navigate into the edit panel.
· Some small changes were made to the UX to improve the experience of creating new views from the Modified views flow.
Fixes
· Fixed an issue whereby some users were receiving the Goals mid-period update notification email daily.
· Fixed an issue with the search bar refreshing suddenly for some users.
Meetings/1:1s
New
· A new feature has been created to allow users to add Past Meetings to the 1:1s module. This enables managers and employees to backdate ad-hoc 1:1 meetings: capturing notes, agenda items that already took place outside of Betterworks.
Fixes
· Fixed an issue where a strikethrough was seen on multiple meeting instances where a third party or Meeting Room had declined the event.
· Two issues in the Goals Side Panel were fixed; Incorrect data being displayed when switching tabs quickly, and pagination not working for users with more than 20 goals.
