New

  • Conversations:
    • There will now be a manager-only visibility option for anytime templates
  • Feedback:
    • There will now be more templates for peer-initiated feedback
    • There will now be more templates for manager-requested feedback
    • There will now be an option for users to request feedback during the grace period of a scheduled feedback cycle
  • OKRs:
    • HR Admins will now be able to view/edit private objectives
  • Platform:
    • Administrators will have the ability to assign an HR Admin's scope by user group via the API

Updates

  • Analytics:
    • In the Usage Dashboard, if a Super Admin selects a different conversation template, the page will now automatically refresh to show the applicable data
    • Help text for Summary & Detailed reports will be added
    • Reports will no longer be exportable to a Super Admin's browser, instead, Super Admins will receive an email containing a download link to their report; this change is being made to increase speed and reduce overall platform load
    • For reports that contain a large amount of data, the report will be broken into multiple links
  • Conversations:
    • There will now be a max character limit of 75 for scale labels 
  • Engage:
    • Administrators can now re-add users that were previously deleted
    • In User Management → Users, the "Insights Access" column has been updated to "Engage Insights Access" to prevent confusion among customers who have both the Betterworks Engage application and the Betterworks Core application (which has its own "Insights" feature)
    • In User Management → Permissions, administrators can now view a list of the specific users that another administrator or a manager has access to (rather than just the number of users that they have access to)
  • OKRs:
    • The JIRA integration has been upgraded (Python 3)
  • Performance:
    • New managers will be able to view Calibration labels that are uploaded
    • The 9box export will contain new fields and the existing fields will be rearranged
  • Platform:
    • Profile images hosted on s3 (AWS) will be served with a Betterworks URL so that firewalls don't block them and prevent the images from displaying

Bug Fixes

  • Analytics:
    • The discrepancy between the Execution Insights landing page and the overlay (re: progress updates) will be corrected
  • Conversations:
    • New anytime conversations will no longer auto-populate
  • Engage:
    • A spacing issue in survey reports (under "Satisfaction Areas") has been corrected
  • Feedback:
    • "Shared" status will no longer display in Feedback Summary when user has not provided feedback
    • Formatting and styling issues have been corrected in the Feedback module
    • Users will once again be able to collapse feedback card (in Feedback → View)
    • Star rating responses will no longer display as blank (in Feedback → Give → Completed and Feedback → View)
  • Performance:
    • Calibration labels that are uploaded will once again display under the correct start/end date
    • Calibration cycles will once again be successfully processed

    • Administrators will now be able to filter on a user's name within a Calibration session

  • Feedback:
    • Under Anytime Feedback, managers will see the note: "Get feedback on yourself or direct reports." instead of just "Get feedback on yourself."
    • When a manager requests feedback on behalf of their direct report, they'll now see the note: "The following question(s) will be asked about [direct report's name]." instead of "The following question(s) will be asked about you."
  • Performance:
    • When filtering in a Calibration session, the "Cancel" and "Apply" buttons will no longer display as active unless applicable
  • Platform:
    • For in-app guides, administrators will be able to create guides for and hide guides from, specific user groups

Bug Fixes

  • Conversations:
    • The "Answers are locked" message will no longer display when the ability to edit is still available
    • Question fields will no longer display in an active state once the conversation is moved to the "Past" view
    • A conversation's status will no longer display as "Complete" to a skip level manager if the manager still needs to answer confidential questions
  • Feedback:
    • Feedback recipients will once again be able to add/remove providers during a scheduled feedback cycle via Feedback → Request (provided that the feedback template is set up so that recipients can nominate providers and it is within the nomination period)
    • Various visual display issues will be corrected (i.e. line breaks, missing button images, and field misalignment) 
    • The Skip level visibility message will no longer display to a feedback provider (in Feedback → Give) when a manager requests feedback on behalf of their direct report
    • The icon of a user that has been nominated as a feedback provider will no longer display on the pending provider list once they've actively declined
  • OKRs:
    • The progress of key results and aligned objectives (in the Objectives list view) will once again be reflected in the "Updated" column 
  •  Performance:
    • The "Unrated" option in the histogram of a Calibration session will once again display the correct count
    • The description of the "Name" field in a Calibration session will once again display the correct information
    • A Super Admin will no longer be able to filter on their own name in a Calibration session
  • Platform:
    • An issue that prevented the users from logging into Betterworks via the mobile Google Chrome browser (not the Betterworks mobile app) has been corrected
    • The "Learn more" link (under Admin → Platform Configuration → Naming) will once again take administrators to the correct Knowledge Base article
    • In-app guides will no longer display on the Betterworks login page (only once the user has successfully logged in)
